The Antecedents (theantecedents.com) is a digital publication and registered trade name of Awe Video LLC, an Iowa-based limited liability company. Our mother-site and production house is Awe Video & Photo Studio (https://www.awevideo.com).
What personal data do we collect?
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to assist with spam detection.

How long do we retain your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username, which cannot be changed). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
